Sunday Apr 07, 2019
You are a GIFT and a BLESSING to the world!
Every day presents a new opportunity to do something great for our families, the community, in the workspace, and globally.
Don't get so caught up in the day-to-day that you forget to count your blessings with the biggest gift being what YOU have to offer.
Shawntay and I invite you to join our #consciousconversation about acknowledging our blessings and the impact that we have individually to the collective good.
Key Takeaways:
- Make Time for You
- Identify Your Blessings/Gifts
- Find an outlet to give back -add value
- Stop trying to explain hide/explain/talk people into understanding your gifts.
Meet Shawntay Simpson ...
Shawntay Simpson is the mother of three beautiful children and wife to a loving husband. She is modest, yet humble when it comes to describing her persona. She understands, however, that everyone’s purpose in life is used as a testimony to help someone else in need of a blessing. She has learned to embrace her own life’s experiences using them as tools to mold her into the person she was destined to become.
As an educator for over 20 years and a world traveler, she is a master mathematician who believes that mathematics strengthens the weak and empowers the strong. She founded Mathematics Four U, LLC to promote her signature training program, How to Teach Mathematics, to other educators seeking to improve their mathematical pedagogy.
Her purpose and passion lies in her musical talent and ability to proclaim God’s word through song. It is in her spiritual worship, where she finds a sense of calmness and peace.

Ep. 8 Cultivating Fear-lessness w/ Nancy Coppedge-Benton
Saturday Mar 02, 2019
Saturday Mar 02, 2019
What does it really mean to be Fearless?
How do you make the SHIFT from Fearful to Fearless?
Studies by clinicians at Columbia University in the late 1980s reveal a fascinating and emblematic gender difference concerning fear. When asked to write a fear-laden story about death, male subjects overwhelmingly chose to write about the terror of their own death. Women subjects, given precisely the same instructions, wrote stories about the death of a loved one--a child, a spouse, a parent. They almost never attached their greatest fears to the loss of their own lives, but instead to the sense of powerlessness over the lives of others-- regarded as personal and private. Join me and my special guest Mrs. Nancy Coppedge-Benton as we have a #consciousconversation about fear.
Nancy drops rich nuggets about the ACTIONABLE steps you can take to cancel fears vote in your life and career. Walking-through-glass is about #embracingthejourney with the understanding that we are all on the same journey although we may take different paths.
